Case Notes
This is a breast reduction case for a 24-year-old woman, performed using the anchor technique. You can see the pre-operative markings drawn on the skin in the before photo, outlining the planned incision pattern around the areola, vertically down to the fold, and along the inframammary crease. That anchor pattern allows for significant tissue removal along with nipple and areola repositioning. The after photo is taken at six months post-op. The scars are still maturing at this stage, which is normal for this technique given the extent of the incision pattern. Breast volume has been reduced noticeably, and the nipple-areola complexes are repositioned higher on the chest. Save it to your Favorites ❤️ if you want to bring it up at your consultation.
