Upper blepharoplasty was performed on a woman in her early sixties, addressing excess skin along both upper lids. The procedure removes a planned strip of skin from the upper lid crease, which lifts the lid margin and opens the visible area of the eye. In the after photo, taken six months post-op, you can see that the upper lid crease is now visible and the lids sit higher, no longer resting as heavily over the iris. The incision is placed within the natural crease so that scarring sits out of direct view when the eyes are open. Six months out, the tissue has settled and the result shown here reflects a well-healed outcome for this patient. Individual results vary.
