Case Notes
An anchor lift was performed on this 50-year-old patient, and the after photo is taken at six months post-op. You can see the surgical markings drawn on the before photo, outlining the planned tissue removal and nipple repositioning. The anchor technique uses three incisions: one around the areola, one running vertically down to the breast crease, and one along the crease itself. That pattern allows the surgeon to remove excess skin, reposition the nipple-areola complex higher on the breast mound, and reshape the tissue beneath. The six-month photo shows the anchor-pattern scars still visible and pink, which is normal at this stage; scar maturation continues for up to two years.
