Case Notes
Upper lid blepharoplasty performed on a male patient in his early seventies. The procedure addressed excess upper eyelid skin on both sides, and the after photo was taken at the six-month mark. What you're looking at is a bilateral upper lid case: skin was removed from each upper lid to clear the visual field and reduce the weight of tissue sitting above the lash line. The six-month photo shows the lids sitting higher, with the upper lid crease visible and unobstructed on both sides. Incision placement in upper lid blepharoplasty typically follows the natural lid crease, which allows the scar to settle into that fold over time. Shown with the patient's written consent.
