Mini Facelift Procedure

A mini facelift addresses early signs of facial aging and a general tired look by tightening loose skin on the lower half of the face, including cheeks, jaw and neck (“turkey neck”) in a less invasive way. Incisions are usually made following the natural curve of the ear around the hairline.

Mini Facelift Recovery

You should be up and about in a day or two, but plan on taking it easy for the first week after surgery. Be especially gentle with your face and hair, since your skin will be both tender and numb. Your face will be swollen and some bruising may occur. By the third week, most patients are back at work and feeling much better. If you need it, special camouflage makeup can mask most bruising until healed.
